The Museum of Pop Culture, previously known as the Experimental Music Project, is a leading-edge nonprofit museum located in Seattle, Washington. 

CURRENT IDENTITY

PROBLEM

MoPop encompasses music, science fiction, and pop culture. The building is alive and certainly draws spectators but the museum's trademark is drowned out by its surrounding architecture. MoPOP rebranded itself within the last year and while the trademark and name are more concise the overall brand loses its personality and vibrancy.

SOLUTION

I chose to create a dynamic logo so that the brand could grow and pulse with life. Frank Gehry the architect, was inspired by music when constructing the building. This proposed brand is modeled after the building and music. It is bright and conspicuous to match the intensity of the idols the museum is built upon.
